The Quest Of Love: Sufi Poetry

The aim of this poetry collection is to awaken the spirit, the senses, and the soul to the reality of Divine Beauty. The book endeavors to bring back the pure emotions, which seem to have been buried in this ever growing and changing contemporary society. Due to technological breakthroughs and the rise of the internet, it appears that the soul and the heart are witnessing psychic tribulations that led them to experience the loss of peace within, tranquility and solace, and have been meshed and trapped into this vicious circle where the worship of the flesh has turned into a sordid reality. This sense of emptiness of the soul is mostly identified with the death of spirituality, moral, religious decadence and sexual promiscuity and so on. Hence, the ultimate goal of this poetry collection is to invite the mind, the heart, the soul, and above all the spirit to dive into this mystic and Sufi temple to alleviate its psychic trauma and psychological depression, and enjoy the beauty and the purity of Divine Love, mystic passion and ascetic euphoria, for, in himself, the lover finds love; in love, he finds Divinity. In short, it is only through Divine Love that the lover can find himself and identify with his true sense of the self, and it is only through his identification with the new sense of the self that he finds the Divine. In this respect, the lover is a spiritual traveler stepping his feet into this endless quest of love, for he's both a sailor and an adventurer; each day he explores a new region of his mystifying soul.
