When tragedy strikes Nick Nelson and his family during his senior year of high school, he spirals into oblivion, unable to cope with his grief and without a system to support him. Losing Jo, his twin and closest friend, leaves him feeling utterly alone and desperate to find a way out of the town that constantly reminds him of her absence. When Jory agrees to talk to him, it starts a relationship that neither man expects to take off. Filled with turmoil, depression, anger, and guilt, Nick struggles to find a way to cope with his loss, to heal and to open to Jory - or risk losing him entirely.
