Discover Your Treasure

We have gifts and talents to serve with, and leave the world better than we found it, but those gifts are buried deep within us like treasure in the heart of the earth. The first question we ask is whether we have treasure to begin with. I believe you do! Once we believe we have treasure we discover things in us that are discouraging like mistakes or regrets preventing us from digging any further. If we can get past the surface, we will discover the wealth waiting to be utilized. Our gifts lay dormant in us, untapped simply because we refuse to take the journey to discovery. Just like precious metals go through a refining process to improve value and quality, our gifts undergo a "refining process." No gift should remain at its discovery stage if it's to become what it was intended to be by God Who gave it. The best thing we can do in this life is find out what we are gifted in and express that gift in its purest form. Live by design not by default!
