I am venturing into my active tenth decade. I've been writing for many years in the business field but now, upon retirement, I am into fun" writing - including poetry and short fiction. "Presently I am a proud Oregonian for the past 45 years. I was born on a Kansas farm before the Great Depression, saw the Pacific Ocean courtesy of the US Navy in World War II, attended two Kansas universities and have continuing interest in all their athletics, particularly Kansas University where I played basketball in the late mid-forties. Creaking joints have retired me to bicycles and auto's. "I was happily married for sixty-seven years and am blessed with three children - all amazing and all supportive."
