The reason we produced this book was to show people what kind of poetry is available right here in Elkhart, Indiana. We have an incredible variety of work written by everyday people-classmates or colleagues. Some of it rhymes. Some of it doesn't. Some of it has a clear message or tells a story. Some of it is written simply for the beauty of how the words sound together, and of the images those words produce in your mind. Sad, serious, sarcastic and satire...it's all here.
