A story of fantasy, adventure and excitement. Tom's eyes suddenly burst open. Blinking to clear the blur from his vision, he felt a throbbing pain pulsing in his head. Clambering to his feet, he ran his fingers through the long strands of black hair tumbling across his forehead. He stared down at his body, his breath stuttering out in short, sharp gasps as he tried to make sense of what he saw. A few moments ago, he had been sitting on a hillside shivering with cold, his weary, bones stiff and aching, now he was standing under an enormous tree at the edge of a wide forest clearing. What had happened? What had brought him here? And even more weird, what had changed him from a sixty-five-year-old man into a thirteen-year-old boy? Someone was watching him - he could feel it but saw no one. This is crazy, he thought. Where am I? He gazed at the gigantic, sprawling tree towering above him, his eyes growing wide when they settled on an enormous golden plaque embedded in the trunk. The plaque was divided into four equal sections, each named after one of the seasons of the year. At its centre stood a keyhole surrounded by a large, circular loop. Tom is sent on a quest through a parallel world, full of magic, mystery and fantastic creatures. Tom must retrieve the Charquery Key before all is lost!
