This illustrated, uplifting children-story is about a six year old girl, who hears 'a voice' speaking to her! In order to find her invisible friend, she embarks on a journey, a search for him or her, asking Mother Sun, Father Moon, the trees, rabbits, deer's, the little river, butterflies and birds, if they had been talking to her - only to realize, and being guided, to find 'The Voice' within herself. This discovery makes her understand that she never needs to feel alone again, nor frightened of the dark or unknown. She proceeds on telling her friends and playmates about it too, resulting in them too, finding their own invisible friends and reconnecting with their Guidance and, dare I say, soul! 'Little Dorothy's invisible friend' is a 26 page long, beautifully illustrated story, by Simone Wright and Christine Gutmann, intended to support children, through changing times and to feel safe and loved! Having been woken from my sleep one night, to write down this story I saw it as my responsibility to share it with children in fear or in need! My personal intention and hope is to encourage children - to feel and re-find inner connectedness, and without a feeling of loneliness learn to trust and become fearless of the unknown! Children need early impression of love and safety. I hope this book will be enjoyed by children and adults who read it to them, alike!
