Becoming His: A Chat With Grandpa About Exodus & Leviticus

Any of you have pets? I wonder what it must of been like to find yourself a citizen of a nation of frogs? And we all have been annoyed by the gnats and flies buzzing around our heads. Well, in Becoming His, I have attempted to explain these and more of the miracles God performed for the nation as they left Egypt for good. It is the historical account of how Israel left Egypt and how God performed such a task. Some of the story is told through a Jewish couple of Teviah and Golde. Why not follow them as they find themselves under the care and protection of the God who saved them; as well as the frustrations of being a part of a stubborn people intent on fighting God all the way. Becoming His is a lesson in the unchanging character and principles of God within the Old Testament: those same principles we talk about in the pages of the New Testament. As we read through the history, we suddenly find ourselves learning lessons on what God is looking for as we grow in our faith in Him. We get clarity and understanding of some of the important ideas of being more like Christ. We may even discover a truth needed in making strong and faithful disciples. This is not a replacement for the Bible in your studies. But it can be a good complimentary resource as you read these portions of the Biblical account. I pray that anyone who buys this book will be blessed by God with a strong sustainable faith in Him.
