The tree stood completely still, amazed at the kind gesture and realized he had never fully understood humans just like the humans had never fully understood him. Some, like his old friend and this woman were kind and loved giants like he was, but others, who were careless and harsh, treated him as a dispensible object of no importance. If only humans knew just how valuable he really was, perhaps they would care more.
