Gladys, you were my first real success, I learned a lot about what I do from you. I didn't think I would, especially when I saw you in that hospital bed. I could barely see your face through all the tissue. You and your song, you were the one who taught me the power of the human voice. I still miss the way you sing and even though I only spent seven minutes with you, it was life changing. I can't believe it took four syringes of morphine to kill you. I hope you are well where ever you went and I hope you sing where ever you are. I miss you Gladys, my 'Sweet Rollin' pin Mama'. I am so glad I killed you, and I hope you are too.
