As the story slowly expanded in scope, she decided to share it with the rest of us. She details her attempts to break into the world of country songwriting and her decade-long search to solve the mystery at the core of her being, the identity of her World War II soldier father. The book is fleshed out with some of her family photos, which serves to transport the reader more fully into her life story.
