Separated identical twins begin whispering to their unknowing counterparts. An ocean salvaging sculptor along with her new acquaintance, a dock worker, and poet, unknowingly embark on an impossible task. Unknown to Leanna Moonth, as she dives and sculpts, she has an identical twin trying to reach her. Her twin is kept isolated in an experimental village in the middle of a vast wilderness. Through impulsive tactile orgies, the villagers enable one another to cross the overlap and whisper mentally to their unknowing twins.
