Maria Teresea H. de Holcomb is a Mexican playwright and author who holds advanced degrees from both American and Mexican colleges. She taught college-level Spanish and Spanish literature courses for twenty-six years, publishing three textbooks over the course of her career. After taking a course on immigration at Yale University, de Holcomb discovered her passion for encouraging woman, especially immigrants, to pursue the lives they desire. This passion led to her first collection of short plays, highlighting the plight of migrant women and the struggles they face.
