THE CKD CAMPAIGN - Leadership After Robert Mugabe: THE ZIMBABWE INDUSTRIAL EVOLUTION The world is anxious to know who will lead Zimbabwe and carry the Great Zimbabwe sceptre after Robert Mugabe? Africa lacks engineering leadership at presidential level and is congested with political scientists and Roman/English/Dutch law attorneys with no technological expertise to confront Africa's chief problem - the lack of technology and no wonder, fifty years after Uhuru, African Industrialization is not even a dream. CKD is campaigning on the Zimbabwe Industrial Evolution with a target of transforming Zimbabwe from a developing economy to the first world within 10 years of government to the level of countries like Luxembourg or Holland as a development milestone. CKD will support from government finance, new indigenous companies by Zimbabwean graduates/experts to design and manufacture goods and services for the Zimbabwean and African Union market and own the market 100% in the following categories: Semi-conductors, auto-mobiles, high speed trains, airplanes & aviation equipment, aerospace, toys & games, oil & gas, farm equipment, mining equipment, earth moving equipment, people moving equipment, software development, communication information technology, power generation & transmission, lighting systems, industrial tools, instruments & sensors, construction equipment, audio-visual & broadcasting, refrigeration & air-conditioning and textile technology to create serious jobs and empowerment for citizens, expatriates will be required to cope with job vacancies. CKD envisions Zimbabwe and Africa wholly owning their market to the extent that the current technology leaders - America, Europe and Asia will shrink to their natural sizes and teeth will gnash (mazino achageda-geda/ amazinyo azagegeza) when first world folks who were used to living large on third party natural resources adjust to normal life similar to the hot dog days that prompted imperialism. The financing of the above grand ideas will come from within for Zimbabwe and Africa are the land of gold. All polytechnics in Zimbabwe will be upgraded to universities to produce personnel, research and development required by the Industrial Evolution. All secondary schools will be upgraded to A-Level with O and A-Level intakes being the same for no-one will fail Standard 6 (O-Level) and the CKD government will provide a universal One Class Model for secondary schools affording all students high quality education at a price of $20 fees, school children will not be compelled to comb their hair for Afro-hair is naturally curly and kinky and that is not criminal. Modest traditional attire will be allowed at school as part of African identity. African Culture will be taught as a subject in primary and secondary school so that mukunda/udade will come back to Unhu/Ubuntu and science will start in kindergarten introducing the electric motor as the source of movement in a toy which feeds on batteries and not porridge. Zimbabwe will be a gun-less society, not even a presidential body-guard, foreign embassy or bank with cash in transit will carry a gun except a soldier on national duty. All prisons will be closed with convicts integrated onto the job market to work from home and to compensate victims for crimes committed on the principle of Mhosva Inoripwa/ Ubadalo. African tradition will be used as extraordinary measure to fight corruption and crime. Marijuana will be legalized for medical research. Gender infections will be eradicated by forcing compensation of victims from the sources of infections and Caesarean operation will be phased out by medicines used prior to colonial annexation of Africa. The CKD government will compensate for all equipment and developments made on the farms then debit the commercial farmers for unauthorized use of Zimbabwe farm land equivalent to farm size (ha) x number of years of use x yield per hectare (tonnes) x average produce price per tonne.
