The Dying Season

A flash flood down Colorado's Big Butte River destroys bridges, flushes home, businesses and vehicles downstream and strands the village of North Fork Glen. With no heat, no electricity, no means of communication and no way to leave, the villagers organize for survival until help arrives. Then Nick Woodburn discovers Brook Strong's mutilated body. Learning of the murder, the panicky villagers arm themselves and ponder the mystery of who and why.
