My purpose in writing this book is to have the reader experience the places and events that were significant in the life of Mary Magdalene. She has left us a rich tradition and legacy. Most of all, the Magdalene's courage and steadfast love can inspire us all. Jesus, himself, chose her to be the first witness of his Resurrection--the miracle that is the cornerstone of all Christianity.
