The poetic diary of a marriage lasting half a century, this collection sketches out the life and times of Ken and Judith Lauter. They met in 1965 in a poetry writing seminar taught by Donald Hall (US poet laureate, 2006-2007) at the University of Michigan, where they both won Hopwood Awards for poetry. They have lived in Tucson, Denver, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, and their current home, Nacogdoches, Texas.
