Songs To An Indifferent Sangha: Selected Poems 2Nd Edition: Poems From A To Z 1972 To 2015

On the occasion of this Second Edition Annotated of the Selected Poems, I have been honored by the response thus far to an otherwise relatively obscure poet quietly living his life and getting about with the never ending joy of playing with words and paying the bills. I am indeed blessed, surely very grateful to those who believed in me and the first edition, despite its very fine print and its overall weight of forty three years of writing. A few changes to text have been made, since abandoning the first edition-the only one I thought I would get a chance to comment upon. The font and scaling are adjusted to a civil and consistent level, and some small changes are made thereby correcting errors in the early 2015 printing. Otherwise, those who procured the first edition are not missing much, except a more readable copy, and in a few instances, like the Adagio poems (which I cannot leave alone!) I think minor revisions make for some redemptive qualities. I also have obscured certain textual references when I found them to be so blatantly clear as to incriminate the innocent. The annotations are particularly pleasing to me because they can give the reader some insights as to my thinking at the time, while in endnote form, do not complicate what the reader may find in value and meaning, if any at all.
