While researching his own family history in the Trebon archives, the author discovered thousands of official Lety documents, which led him on a voyage of discovery, interviewing both survivors and camp guards. An extraordinary insight into the life and death of hundreds of Czechoslovakian Roma families, enslaved or murdered by their own citizens, while providing slave labour for the noble Swarzenburg family.
