Harry Keating grew up in a village in Ontario. His early writings were poems published in a monthly railway magazine, as his father was a section hand with Canadian National Railway. He also wrote a weekly book review column and other articles for the Marmora Herald. Later, he wrote a feature for Seattle's Child and articles for Toronto's Subway Link. After almost falling off a Peruvian mountain, being attacked by two switchblade-wielding punks in Chicago, and planning his suicide, Harry today is a retired accountant/traveller living life to the fullest.
