Este trabajo es una propuesta para estudiar la organizacion social descentralizada en la Mixteca Alta. Para ello nos focalizamos en el estudio del sitio arqueologico El Alvarado en asociacion a otros sitios menores ubicados en el Valle de Tlaxiaco. El objetivo fue tener un acercamiento a la organizacion social a nivel de sitio y valle que existio durante el Preclasico Tardio o Fase Ramos (300 a.C. - 300 d.C.). A partir de los analisis: fisiografico, arquitectonico, arqueologico, de transito, de visualizacion y de estimacion de poblacion se plantea primero, una deconstruccion y posteriormente, una reconstruccion del paisaje del Valle de Tlaxiaco durante la fase Ramos. Se propone una organizacion social centralizada a nivel de sitio y una organizacion social descentralizada a nivel de valle. En este sentido, se plantea una forma diferente a la organizacion centralizada a nivel de valle que ha sido ampliamente estudiada en la Mixteca Alta. This work studies decentralised social organisation in the Mixteca Alta, Oaxaca, Mexico. The research focuses on the El Alvarado archaeological site in association with other small sites in the Tlaxiaco Valley. The main goal was to understand the social organisation that existed, at the site and valley level, in the Late Preclassic or Ramos phase (300 BC to AD 300). From the physiographic, architectural, archaeological, transit, visualisation and population estimation analyses, first, a deconstruction is proposed and then a reconstruction of the landscape of Tlaxiaco Valley during the Ramos phase. This research deals with the centralised social organisation at the site level and the decentralised social organisation at the valley level. In such a way, at the valley level, a type of social organisation different from the centralised one is proposed, which has been widely studied in the Mixteca Alta.
