Nation, citizenship, Europe is a political essay. It analyses some concepts that seem self-evident, easy to understand, and unfortunately daily used in political rhetoric and, most of the time, in propaganda, as if they were so. To the contrary, they are far from clear, but they are frequently evoked, because of their emotional and irrational appeal, to build walls among people and Countries. In an era where nationalisms want to bring our Countries back in history, it could be useful to spend a little bit of our time thinking about our identities as far as the differences that divide us.
