Is everything you "know" about the Bible Wrong? To be honest, probably not! But like most people, it's easy to overlook the names of places in Bible lands like "Bashan", "Caesarea Philippi" or "Mount Hermon". It's especially easy to overlook key words in the original text like "Rephaim" and "Elohim" because our English translations often don't bother to translate them in a way that preserves their full meaning. But the words and actions of Jesus CAN take on a significantly bold and powerful meaning when we finally understand the geographical background and related spiritual history of key places and concepts.
