The year is 1948. World War II has ended and things are getting back to normal. People can now buy new cars, tires, and gasoline. Some college-age girls decide they want to see the world. They have the time but not the money. Then someone has an idea. "Let's drive a car to South America, sell it there to pay for our trip home. OK, but first we have to earn money to buy the car and drive it down there. No problem! We're on our way!" They set off on a 10,000 mile trip. They're on their own. No computers, no internet, no e-mail, no smart phones, no GPS, no WI-FI, no TV. But all doesn't go as planned. This is the story of their adventure.
