Written from a Conservative Holiness (Wesleyan) point of view, this book of character building stories is designed to help structure and enrich your family worship time. Several topics are addressed such as: The value of work, honesty, greed, responsibility, and a missionary story. Each weekly story has a memory verse, and a description of the central concept. The five daily portions are accompanied by suggested scripture passages and suggestions for discussion and prayer. Although it was meant to be read aloud by parents, some children have found it useful for their own private devotions, and it can be easily adapted for homeschool, Christian school chapel, or children's services. Although some of the stories are fiction, most are based on true events. Bible stories are told from an "I was there" perspective, and contain characters and actions that could have happened in that setting, but are not necessarily included in the Biblical account.
