This is a short biography of Second Lieutenant Alan Thompson Watt Boswell, 108th Squadron, Royal Air Force, who was killed in action on the Western Front during World War I - on 2nd October 1918, aged 28 years. He was a son of James Grinton Smith Boswell and Jane Kay Boswell. Alan was a B.Sc. Graduate of Cardiff University. He was a Welsh International Player at Football and Hockey, and represented Glamorgan at Cricket. He is remembered with Honour at the Arras Flying Services Memorial in France.
