Canadian Stories

These stories were born between 2003 and 2018, during the first 15 years of Larisa Segida's life in Canada, her homeland, where she peacefully settled down after her unforgettable life in Russia, her motherland. It took her 131,400 hours of her daily immersion in Canadian English and Canadian culture and 70,000 hours of her academic study in Canadian universities to begin to feel comfortable in her writing in English. Some of these stories were written in English and then translated by her into Russian, Larisa's native language. Some were originally written in Russian and then translated by her into English.
