This book is the sequel to Harbor of Refuge. It continues the stories of the people who live at Cap'n Kelly's Marina, a small marina located in a small, out-of-the way town in Florida. It also introduces some new characters and describes how their lives have been changed by living in this "Harbor of Dreams." In the first book, many of the characters sought "refuge" from the problems of life, and, though the invisible, guiding hand of Margaret Calkins -- "the widow of Cap'n Kelly himself -- their lives were "put back on track," as she was fond of saying. In Harbor of Dreams, those same people, as well as newcomers to the Cap'n Kelly's "family," find their lifelong, forgotten dreams becoming reality.
