This book is the second of a series where Joanna, the spiritual granddaughter of Stephen Brown comes back to Draper, Utah. This time, she and her guardian, Ruffy, are drawn to the daughter of a teacher at Rain Tree Christian Academy's Middle School who is bullied by two classmates.
