Shorty Bean And The Coin Of Fire

It's Christmas! And this year, Shorty Bean will be performing in a Christmas play at her school! But what will happen after the Christmas play once all of the students are dismissed for winter break is where the real adventure begins. Shorty Bean and her parents will go to her grandparent's cottage for Christmas. But Shorty had no way of knowing that it would launch a series of events which would bring unexpected change as lives are forever rearranged. Shorty Bean often reflected to the last time she was at her grandparents and how the Coin of Fire fell from her hands into the depths of the river. It was a dreadful day on that mountain top with White Cloud and Smarty. But anytime she is at her grandparent's the ordinary becomes rather extraordinary and what Shorty didn't know was that a profound mystery had begun to stir in the deepest parts of the forest as new creatures immerged. Unexpected characters had moved into the oak tree at the cottage and under the deck where Mrs. Patty lives along with some new visitors.
