After being ship wrecked for six weeks-experiencing one tumultuous life-threatening mishap after another, in Book 1, Cameron Decker's intentions are now quite simple: Take time off-just chill. To start, he wants to share the wonder he'd experienced while on the exoplanet of Sang-Morang. Return there with Heather, the love of his life, so they could experience together this majestic corner of the universe. The spacecraft Primion was flight-ready and the immense creature-the Loth-seemed content to follow him wherever he went. Quickly becoming apparent to them both, although light years apart, is coming to grips with the realization there is little hope they will ever see each other again. Soon, they will be forced to endure their own version of hell-alone.
