Overview
Children who grow up without fathers have long been the public subject of pity, scorn and derision due to factors beyond their control. Similarly, single mothers are often demonized or lumped into a monolithic group that rarely takes into account the individual circumstances that led to their single parent status. It's true that in a perfect world, all children would be born to a mother and father who are bound together for life; and who both make meeting their children's needs a central relationship goal. Thirdly, this book is particularly directed to mothers and children in households of faith, who believe in the concept of God as the loving Father of humanity.
