History of my great grandfather Tom Moore, Sr. and how he established his own farm town "The Moore Place" in the Black Belt area of Sumter County, Alabama. It also contains a collection of true life stories and incidents of my siblings and I that occurred during my childhood in the community. These stories are filled with faith, laughter, love, childish mischief, life lessons, ghost stories and some sadness. Besides establishing his town, one of my great grandfathers greatest accomplishments was the building of his school, "BETHEL HILL", which is listed as Historical.
