The young people of Wac Arts College explore the power of poetry to respond to issues important to them around racism, gender and education. A collection of poetry exploring what it means to be human by looking at a series of fundamental human rights - the right to self-identity, to self-determine and to live a full life without fear of violence or persecution. Written by the young people of Wac Arts College, led by Anthony Anaxagorou (award-winning poet, fiction writer and poetry educator). Illustrated by Tobi Forsdyke. Published by Mordant Books. This project was possible thanks to funding from Heritage Lottery Fund and John Lyon's Charity.
