The novice skipper chooses Dead Man Beach at Lake Huron for the first water excursion. Far out in freezing waters, the Lake puts to the test the unsinkable vessel and the skills of the intrepid sailor along with him catching a cold up his rear end. SCARS Winter after winter, Tom and Shane placed their hut on remote Arctic waters. In their minds, they reached heaven; majestic and transparent. In reality, both men intruded upon a pure environment.
