Sylvia is the second book in the Children Of The Myth Machine series. Geneticist Larry Smide designed a machine that uses organic matter to create tiny creatures that resembled elves and many other creatures of myth. They were small originally and he thought expendable. But to his disbelief they could procreate and with each new generation the children grew taller. Delve Industry wants his machines to create a limitless supply of slaves for work and entertainment. On the planet Lilly, Sylvia and the other children of the forest are prepared for the next time Delve Industry sends a spaceship of slavers to steal their people away. The slavers stole Sylvia's sister Miya and she wants her back. An impossible hope as the slavers took her sister to another planet. Or is it?
