We Them And All Of "Us": An Anti-Bias Curriculum (For Middle And High School Students)

An anti-bias curriculum for middle and high schools that is building global leaders and inspiring the greatness that lives in all of us! Just as division is taught, the skills for achieving unity must also be taught. We Them and All of "US" is about more than race. It is about our struggle with "difference," whether it is due to race, socio-economics, gender, disabilities, special abilities, etc. This curriculum, designed for middle and high school students, features short modular units that are scalable and time-efficient, lesson plans created for easy integration into core course curricula, activity-driven design with peer leadership opportunities, small group work, simulations, lecture notes constructed for strong student engagement, discussion questions that evoke student interest, and more. WE THEM and all of "US" is more than a curriculum; it is a strategic activity-driven approach to developing socially mindful and globally aware future leaders. As we prepare tomorrow's leaders to thrive, our mission is to teach skills and competencies that enable them to realize this vision.
