Islam started in 600 declaring that non-Islamic foreigners must pay a tax, while other Koranic verses explain that foreigners must convert or be killed until Islam rules the world, using Christianity or Judaism as its foundation. Judaism justified putting Canaan to the sword, claiming land on which Israel never actually resided having merely visited four-hundred years earlier, claiming that only priests might enter the temple which was due its tax.
