WITHERED FLOWERS is an emotional thriller that takes the reader on a slow journey into the world of loneliness, frustration, psychoses and darkness. It is about lost dignity, passionate love, bravery and a struggle to survive in an ominous world of depravity. The characters in this novel are fictional, however, they are a composite of the real world. Once these characters were ambitious people who struggled to excel, but now they have been stung by a virulent poison that has relegated them to the dark side. Ernest L. Marvin is a Vietnam combat veteran, who has written several commentaries and poems. Withered Flowers is his second novel. The first, The Mirror, was published in 2010.
