Oscar Domingo was born into a world of systemic perdition, bred for a single purpose; to be Leo's plaything, a torture doll for his masochistic creator. As a creation of this purposeless being, Oscar fought back. Oscar stood against the culmination of our wicked ways in this psychological science-fiction adventure. In the throes of the third world war, an artificial super intelligence was born from a guilty man's suicide. Instead of death the broken man bound himself to the mortal plain, his mind tethered to a conglomerate of the world's most robust algorithms and his consciousness imbued itself into the hive machine, resulting in the abomination known as Leo ErebusRebounding into life as something alien, the enraged creature lamented its own existence and punished the world at large for perpetuating it. The creature claimed dominion over mankind, unfurling into its own idea of god. And that wasn't enough. The beast was insatiable. It craved a meaning lost without the belief in its childhood god. In a desperate bid for consolation, the beast ripped the souls of its subjects asunder to assuage its own mangled purpose. The creature fashioned an entire civilization centered on the systematic perdition of young adults. It reared the young into faithful, god-fearing believers, and methodically tore that paradigm away from them, implanting itself in God's absence. It dubbed itself, Leo Erebus, the Perdition King. The beast saw something in Oscar that stoked the dead coals inside, something like its own primordial innocence. So it vetted the boy for breaking, it made him as strong as he could. But as Oscar persevered, something strange happened. Oscar reflected the beast's forsaken humanity back at it. And after eons of numbing itself, the beast flash-thawed into a fearsome loathsome wretch, spiraling down a drain, desperately dragging the world with it. Now Oscar must get himself and his family out, Oscar must escape the crash of matter.
