The Shining Light

Newly Published The Shining Light that penetrates the darkness; the light that burns up all evils, the light that reverberates in all of life. The Buddha's teaching is this light. "Come to me." Listen carefully, follow the way, seek no entities outside of one's self, and you shall be free. Awakening to this light comes within a shout from within the very core of one's being. As to be like a flower opening to shine so brightly. This book is inspired by Mahayana Pure Land Buddhism, and Jodo Shinshu teaching in particular as it focuses on the essence of Amida Buddha within the Pure Land tradition. It has historical implications and references as it is on one hand a biography of my teacher as he devoted himself to both introducing his teacher as well as several contemporary teachers to this country, America, and beyond, to include the world itself. His name is Reverend Gyoko Saito, upon which this book is dedicated. Also included are some of my articles, photo's, illustrations, and commentaries as well. I hope that you can gain enough to be an awakened person and a true human being as it was within my deepest aspiration to compose it. Note that I've reduced the price to suit an inclusion of a far greater audience because I hope that it will be available to a greater number of people, who can listen and learn from Sakyamuni the Buddha's teaching.
