The Sky Is The Floor And The Grass Is The Ceiling

When Nan gazed dreamily down into the clouds above her in what she named "the grassy place", little did she know that speaking one of her made-up rhymes out loud would land her in a fantastic version of her own real world counterpart. There she must eventually deal with the absence of her mother. Nan is joined on her adventure by her two friends, Fig and Art. How the boy with a mirror on his stomach, a string-less dragon kite, a girl who is indeed blue, and intricate mechanical bees got there, is anyone's guess. There is of course, the "pink blindness" in everyday life that makes Nan wonder enough about life. She may be a rebel of the smallest of sorts, but she is her own hero.
