More than ten years after fighting for the Confederacy in the Civil War, lifelong friends McCall "Mac" Patton and Ron "Sandy" Sands left Clay County, Missouri behind for another life adventure of prospecting for gold in the Colorado Rockies. Mac Patton's mission had now changed; he had to get Keegan safe to her Aunt Risa in Blackhawk, Colorado before he could resume his trail of justice and retribution against the saber carrying Captain Merna.
