a morsel of a quarter of time is a poetry collection shedding light on the transience of time and finding oneself. it is an honest anthology exploring self-esteem, false hope and feigned sanity throughout the solitary years of adolescence. this book consists of numerous layers of lively struggles and internal darkness, and dives right into an introvert's complex state of mind. this is the constituent text of a worn-out soul with guts to push through the arduous, leaden days that seemed to have no end. all by myself: a scrawny, pale girl with no social skills and an abysmal self-hatred. it is far from perfect, but if i were to look in the mirror next to it, i would see the resemblance: the fact that we're equally imperfect, but somehow good enough. so here is a chunk of me to you; my first attempt, raw and real. unfiltered, with its flaws, holes and oddities.
