Chartreuse: The Balloon Was Green With Envy

The book is about a little white girl who is born out of a rape situation and has a little evil in her. She moves to a new town and meets a little black girl and they become best friends. The little white girl dies in a tragic accident after falling off a bridge. When the black girl visits the grave she blows up a balloon after saying ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The evil spirit of the little girl is forced into the balloon and is miraculously floating. The balloon knows when her friend is in trouble and 3 people mysteriously die because of it. The black girl finds out eventually that she must stop and pop the balloon.
