Do You Know My Name?

Photographer Jennie Milne recently visited Israel to record the stories of Jewish people whose lives and families have been devastated by Palestinian terror attacks. Jennie was moved to make this journey after hearing of the horrific murder of 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa Ariel in her bedroom near Hebron in June 2016, and learning 'There are no shortage of terror victims in Israel'. Drawing on contacts made during a recent search for her family members, divided and scattered by the Holocaust, Jennie was able to connect with nine survivors. The courage, grace and faith she found in these individuals lives in the face of such evil is both heartbreaking and inspirational- relevant to any who have faced trauma and loss, regardless of location, creed or culture.
